  • Removed past outreach chair from google voice. confirm?

  • A request was made for outreach to update the speaker list and hold a training for all members lead by Anthony and Hannah on how to speak to treatment centers.

Inreach General Report (10 Minutes) 

• General Report: Caitlyn K 

  • Newsletter Report (Production Editor Ryan W) 

    • April Theme: Fact Finding & Fact Facing - Due April 15th

    • Discussed creating a QR code that could be passed around at meetings informing people of the newsletter and to sign up or contribute, as well as having IG Reps making announcements about the newsletter.

  • Update on Group Reps including suburban/oak park groups

  • Summer Retreat 2024

    • Theme: A daily Reprieve

    • Working on pulling together their committee

    • Proposed price of $330 - Caitlyn and Chris to review 2 year projections and to work with Zane, Abby, and Trevor before confirming the price

    • Retreat chairs to work on an email to group informing them of registration being open

  • Q and A

  • Event Coordinator: Burke and Andrew c

    • Event/s Proposed - Working on events likely in May, either a bowling event where it would be $13-$15/person, or an open picnic in Humboldt Park, more details to come

Annual Business Meeting Delegates (10 min) 

• ABM Delegates: Anthony and Caitlyn, 2024 ABM Delegates 

  • SLAA Life Saver Program

  • Additional Delegate Search.  Testing of Dekoven for 2025 ABM Bid/2024 ABM meeting.

    • Online ABM this year. Looking for 5 people to serve as delegates this year and trying to stay at DeKoven during the event so we can test the capabilities.

    • Bid for Chicago 2025: cost effective plan and plenty of service needed.

    • Basic Test - No markups are being provided right now, will need to review line by line so we can respond.

    • Our IFG from last year is the first item on the agenda this year, delegates will be working on a direct request to delegates.

• Submissions to newsletter - April theme: Fact Finding and Fact Facing

○ Deadline for Submissions: April 15th

• Subscribe to the newsletter on the slaachicago website

• Encourage donations to IG via Venmo (@Augustine-Fellowship) 

• Please submit Meeting Updates via the Meeting Update Function on the Website (reopening, etc.)
